In November 2010, TALKINGplug entered ClimateSpark - an online venture capital contest launched by the Toronto Atmospheric Fund that was designed to shine a light on innovative green business ideas for a chance to win funding.
On February 2, at the ClimateSpark IGNITE closing evening, TALKINGplug was announced as the winner of the $10,000 ClimateSpark IGNITE prize for best overall green business idea for fighting climate change, as voted by the ClimateSpark community and an expert panel.
We are thrilled to have been awarded the top prize and are honour to have been part of this innovative competition coordinated by the Toronto Atmospheric fund in support of green business ideas.
